New Mexico law now provides the opportunity for people to register to vote or update their voter registration immediately before voting in a statewide election (Section 1-4-5.7 NMSA 1978). Please bring a current and valid photo ID or a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck, student identification card or other government document, including identification issued by an Indian nation, tribe or pueblo that shows your name and current address.

For the 2021 Special Congressional Election, Same Day Registration (SDR) will be available as follows:

May 4 - 14, 2021 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.)

May 15 - 29, 2021 (Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Election Day

***Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, Same Day Registration locations are subject to change***
