On Oct. 15 the Bernalillo County Commission approved the minimum wage cost of living increase from $9.05 to $9.20 per hour. The increase will take effect Jan. 1, 2020.

Each person selected received the highest ranking in their division. The recognition committee ranked each nomination form submitted and selected the employee from each division with the highest average. Massive Behavioral Health Training and Education Efforts Launched by Bernalillo County

Sadly, New Mexico has some of the highest rates of mental illness and substance abuse in the nation- highlighting the need for a continuum of behavioral health care. In 2015 Bernalillo County created the Behavioral Health Initiative to build that system of care, to date, the BHI has created 19 programs.
