County Commits Money to Paseo Del Norte Expansion

Bernalillo County District 4 Commissioner Walt Benson has dedicated $100,000 for the Paseo del Norte expansion project in the northwest part of the county. County commissioners backed the funding designation for the Paseo del Norte project at its March 8 meeting.

BernCo Elected Officials Sworn-in Under COVID Safe Conditions

The following Bernalillo County elected officials were sworn in today, Friday, Jan. 1: newly elected District 3 County Commissioner Adriann Barboa, newly elected District 4 Commissioner Walt Benson, returning District 2 Commissioner Steven Michael Quezada, returning County Clerk Linda Stover, and returning County Treasurer Nancy Bearce.

Commissioner Walt Benson was elected to serve as Bernalillo County Commissioner for District 4, which encompasses the northern portion of Bernalillo County, from Sandia Heights and North Albuquerque Acres to Paradise Hills, Ventana Ranch and portions of the North Valley.
